Moyle Park College staff and students have been running their Christmas Food Appeal for the past nine years. This year our First Year students and teachers together with Br. Colman launched their Christmas Appeal in aid of Clondalkin St. Vincent de Paul. A Christmas Jumper themed Non-uniform day was held on Friday the 9 th December 2016 and raised over €700. The walls of the school were adorned with Jumper shaped posters as students were encouraged to get into the spirit of the event and help raise some much needed funds for those in need in the Clondalkin area. Students arrived Friday morning decked out in Santa suits, Santa hats, Christmas jumpers and t-shirts.

The non-uniform day ran in conjunction with our annual Christmas food Appeal which has been running for the past nine years and helps send food hampers to those in need in the local area. Staff, students and parents come together to remember those in need over the festive season. All donations are made into food hampers which are given to the local St. Vincent de Paul committee. The hampers are then delivered before Christmas.

This year, our donations were greater than ever but as each Christmas dawns the challenges grow greater. We would like to take this opportunity to thank staff, parents and students for their generosity and support over the years.
