Additional Educational Needs

The staff of Moyle Park College aim to help all of their students to reach their full potential. To achieve this, there are comprehensive support services for students with differing educational needs in place, co-ordinated by Mr. Molloy and a team of SNA’s and AEN teachers.

Additional support is given to address the individual needs of the identified students. Students are supported in their learning through a combination of Team Teaching, where extra support is provided in the large class setting, on a one-to-one basis and in small groups. We also offer small group sessions and one-to-one where necessary.

Parents are encouraged to inform the school of their son’s learning needs and to raise any new concerns with a member of the AEN Team. Where necessary, the school will liaise with the Primary Schools to get a clearer understanding of students’ needs.
